One day I was visiting at my best friends house. My friend, Emily, her mother and I had just finished watching a scary movie and were discussing stories about ghosts and paranormal experiences. Before Emily and her mother had lived in the house we were currently in, she had lived in a house where many others had lived before. Emily and I asked her mother if she could tell us a couple true ghost stories that may have happened to her. Her mother agreed and told us about one that took place in her old house. She said that she was home alone, all by herself, nobody else was there with her. She was speaking on the phone to someone, and decided to call them right back.
She went and did something, (got a snack, got water, got a checkbook etc) and left the phone on the couch. When she returned she was going to quickly call back the person she had been talking to. She checked the couch where she had left the phone, and it wasn't there. She was thinking she might of left it on the counter or something, but she couldn't find it anywhere in the living room or in the kitchen. She checked in every room, but she couldn't find it anywhere. Finally, she decided to just page the phone and she could find it.
She paged it, and she finally heard a faint, faint beeping from far away. She said, "I finally came to the pantry door that hadn't been opened for a while. I opened the door, the beeping became louder. Finally, I found it on the very top shelf behind some old food boxes and cans."
