The Ghost At Edgewater Drive

The story I am about to tell happened about five years ago and I found out about it right after we moved.

One night my dad gets home at about 11 o'clock and goes to turn off the alarm as he walks down the hallway he runs into what looks to be a little girl about my age which at the time was about seven. In the dark he can't see much so he thinks it's me and tells her to go back to bed. She just stands there acting as if nothing was said. Now he's angry. He tells her to go back to bed once more still thinking that its me. Then all of a sudden she runs down the hall and jumps in the closet. My dad walks up opens the door and sees the clothes move looks around and nothing is there. What do you think about that?

Also on a Sunday afternoon my dad is sleeping when he wakes up and out of the corner of his eye he sees the little girl running down the hallway into my room. Creepy right? Well then my dad walks into my rooms and sees her run into the closet. He goes over and sits on the bed and tells her to come out and stop hiding from him. My grandma walks in worried about all the commotion and asks him why he's yelling and he says Ashlie wont come out of the closet and I told her to take off her Sunday dress so she won't get it dirty. She replies, ''Ashlie went with her mother and siblings to go shopping a few hours ago.'' When I heard that chills ran up my spine.

Those are the events that have happened to my dad. My grandma claims that she has heard someone in the bathroom giggling. I don't know about you but that freaks me out. I hope you have enjoyed my ghost stories.

My Ghost Story

My parents, younger sister, Rachel, and I moved into our new house in 2005. I was excited about moving into this new house and it seemed really cool at the time.

Not long after we had moved in, I thought I heard Rachel crying, and went downstairs to find out why. When I got downstairs, I found her on the couch... fast asleep. I didn't think much about it then. My imagination is usually pretty vivid.

But in August 2006, my parakeet died. I was really upset because she was my best friend. Quite a few times, for the rest of that year, I thought I heard her but thought that It was just the floor creaking, since it's kinda old.

But then, in January, I woke up around 1:30 am. For some reason, I looked to the wall to the right of my bed. Oddly enough, their was a small, glowing form that seemed to be leaning against the chair I have there. It looked about the size of a 2 year old, even though it was standing. I just laid there, staring at it for about an hour.

Then,to my relief, Rachel started crying next door. I jumped up and ran to her room. Luckily, my mom also woke up, and told me that it was ok and to go back to bed. I made it through the night.Since then, nothing that odd has happened.

Is This An Angel Or A Demon?

In 2006, this happened in my old house, back in New York. I was sleeping in my bed, it was probably about 2:00 in the morning (I'm guessing). Then I wake up from this deep sleep, not knowing the reason why I woke up.

I wake up and I see this little country western girl sitting right in front of my bed, in a wooden chair. She had blond hair that was tied into two side braids, probably about six - nine years old, had a white dress on (looked like she was wearing a night gown) and was wearing no shoes on.

When I saw her, I didn't really freak out. It was like her presence just calmed me. Don't get me wrong, I was scared but calm. Weird right?

The only people at my house that day was my parents and my sister, she was 13 years old at the time. There was no one in my house that has blonde hair. The "thing" didn't look like a ghost to me at the moment. She just stared at me in a relaxing way.

Now that I actually think about it, I think she might have been my guardian angel. I never found out what that "thing" really was. Questions are always rushing through my mind. Can it be? This is a true story! Believe or not.

The Old Victorian House

When I was about 8 or so we moved into this old Victorian three family home. my mum just had an uneasy feeling about it, just a bad feeling.

the first few days was ok after a week we had these strange feelings of being watched and cold sections in the house. a week later my mother claimed to see the bed shake right in front of her soon after most of the pictures in the living room would be on the floor and some small furniture would be moved. then it became constant, soon the trash in the kitchen would be dumped all over the floor, kinda looked like a dog got ahold of it.

every morning would be something new, cabenet doors opened, lights still on, it just seemed to get worst and worst as the days and weeks came along. we moved out about 6 weeks after we moved in and nothing really happened like that again. this is what got me involved in the paranormal.

I really have no rational explanation for what happened and still try to find a reason. it all seems like the spirit or ghost in the home just didn't want us their, looking back maybe it was trying to say 'the longer you stay, the worst it'll get'. anyways this was my encounter

The Old Lady

One rainy night a taxi driver saw an old lady walking slowly on the road. Feeling sorry for her,he stop and asked if she wanted a ride. The old lady excepted the offer and got in the taxi.

Due to the storm, the street lights were out. The driver could barely see the lady in the back seat. He asked, "So were do you live Ma'am"? "Just keep going I'll show you which house is mine", replied the old lady. So the driver just kept on driving.

All of a sudden the lady ordered him to stop in front of an old house. She said softly,"Money is inside my house just wait out here and I'll bring it out to you". The driver didn't mind waiting.

Ten minutes has passed and the lady still hasn't come out of the house. He was starting to get very impatient so,he decided to come to the house. He knocked firmly on the three times.
Finally the door opened, but it wasn't the same lady. The driver told her about the lady he had picked up. The lady at the door was in shocked. She that lady was her great grandmother. She had been dead for over twenty years.

What Scares You The Most?

What scares you the most? If you ask me that I will say dolls. Now this is a true story and well I tell it over and over again.

We had just bought our house back in Texas. I found a doll in the attic when I was like nine and well, the crazy thing was that it looked like it was psycho and it freaked me out.

I left it in my room and ran outside to play. When I came back it was gone so I figured my mom threw it out so I didn't mind it at all.

The next day my parents went to go buy me a doorknob and lock for my door. When I got back from school they told me to try it out. And you know when you look in a door knob you see your reflection? Well I locked the door and I saw me and right beside me I saw that doll looking at me with hatred. I tried to open the door but I forgot it was locked. My parents heard me scream and ran to help me. They couldn't because the door was locked. I was pounding on the door, but nothing.

The next thing you know I just wake up and I am running to the door and I didn't know where I was for a second. I was pounding on the door so hard and screaming my dad's name. I was screaming so loudly that I couldn't hear my mom screaming my name. She calmed me down telling me that my dad went to the store and that he will be right back.

I thought that that doll had only been a dream and I was so relieved until my mom asked why were screaming yesterday in your room?

The Evil Doll

When I was seven and my sister was five she used to share a room with me. She had this little doll, she called it Belli Motiyui.

The doll would wake me up at night. The doll would cry every single night, even if the batteries were dead. One night my sister went missing. We looked everywhere for her. Three hours later we heard her crying from the attic, it took us 34 minutes to find her in the attic. She was bleeding, but she wouldn't tell us why, she just kept repeating, "No, Belli". I was scared that night.

The next day I woke up and she was gone again. We couldn't find her anywhere. I checked the attic, but she wasn't there. When I tried to leave, the attic door shut on me locking the door tight. Then I saw her doll Belli, the dolls head was spinning around fast, like I told you there were no batteries in the doll.

We didn't find my sister till the next day. She was in the attic, deep in the attic. She was talking to something saying, "Belli, ha-ha you're so funny". Then I picked her up and she screamed, "let me go! Belli help me".

The good thing was that we moved because after that my mom found out the house was haunted by some man who died in the house at age 23. I still hear strange noises coming from there but I have not been in that house since

Talking Stuffed Animals And The Poltergeist Upstairs

Okay, yesterday (Feb 27) I was on the phone with my half brother and our conversation ended up about paranormal experiences that have happened to us recently. He told me about when he was sitting on his bed in the dark and he was (for some reason) talking to his stuffed animals about who he liked in our class. He said that one of his stuffed animals, which was a build a bear rabbit by the name of "Floppy", said to him in an old man's voice to "just tell her" and he said "did you just talk to me"? and Floppy said "yes don't you know that we can talk"? and they stopped talking.

What could have possessed them to talk? A poltergeist? Or something else?

The second story; George (my half brother) had fallen asleep on the couch downstairs and he had to get something from upstairs and the door was closed (he had left it wide open). He went back down stairs and closed the door and then went back upstairs and again the door was closed.

He had decided to open the door and wait for it to close so, he did. He went into the room when he heard walking and the door closed. The walking went toward him and he jumped on the bed and it stopped.

I am confused by this and so is he, please help. This "thing" claims to be an angel from Heaven, but I don't believe it. Please reply why you think my half brother's home is haunted. Thanks for reading!

Ghost In My House

The night it happened I was lying in bed oblivious to what was going on in my house. As the night fell it got creepier by the moment. Dishes were falling to the ground, whispers in my ear, footsteps in the hall. And the water in my bathroom sink was running all at once. I decided to get up, face my fears and see what was happening in my very own house.

I walked gently and slowly down the stairs waited by the wall and poked my head out to see. When I did this, there in my face I saw a woman with long black hair and jagged old clothes doing the same thing on the other side of the wall. I screamed and ran for the door. Pulling and tugging at the door but nothing happened it was like someone or something was holding it closed.

I ran to the basement to get some sort of weapon but there I heard more, louder whispers. Banging on the closed door was something I fear to tell. I was running to the door of the basement but, it was locked. I was stranded in my own basement with fear and discomfort.

Again I saw the women standing in front of me, staring and coming toward me. I went black.

In the morning I woke up in my bed with three scratches down my palm to wrist. Blood stains were all over my bed and clothes. I still to this day don't know what happened to me that night.

I've wanted to leave for thirteen years now, but its like the spirits are eating at my soul and leaving me with nothing but fear and doubt of life. I've decided now to live among them and let them take control of me. I have no strength to fight. I have no control of myself. I couldn't leave if I tried. I'm trapped.

The Haunted Lucy Doll

Hi all you paranormal freaks! Just kidding, me and my sister are here to tell you about one of our most spookiest doll incident ever!

Our best friend's (Jenna) grandmother gave Jenna, on her thirteenth birthday, a doll that was life size and dressed in a dress with slippers down to her own jewelry! Jenna suddenly had a obsession with the doll, and would stop hanging out with us.

One day we went to her house and up to her room. It was locked, so we knocked but no reply. Then we yelled, "Jenna stop playing with that stupid doll of yours!" And she coldly replied "It's name is Lucy and she is not stupid!"

So we pretended to walk away, but were over hearing her secretly. She said "Oh Lucy, you're so pretty!" And then she would say in a completely different voice, "I know!"

We were really freaked out and thought she had some mental issues because dolls can't talk, right? Then we told her dad and he sadly told us, "I know. I'm sorry girls, Jenna doesn't like to talk alot, and suddenly stays in her room all the time!" He finally got the door to open, but Jenna was nowhere to be seen. "Jenna!" Anna screamed. "Jenna, where are you?" Then we heard talking from the closet. We opened the door and were shocked to see Jenna talking to "Lucy" and Lucy was talking back! "Ahhh!" We shrieked. We ran out of her house and never went back.

White Ghostly Figure In Georgia

My story is short, (sorry), but one time my mom and I were living in Georgia, along with my four brothers and one sister and my dogs Max and Cody and our cats Smokey, Boots and Angel.

My dad's a truck driver so he was gone all the time and home a little bit. My brothers were over at our old friends house. Where we used to live we had a lot of hills and one of my brothers went running. So they were all gone except me and my mom and we were just sitting there talking about something, I cant remember what, when I guess me and her just had a strange urge to just look at the window. Outside you could see something white floating with no shape or form just floating there randomly.

Well, my mom got up because she thought it was my brother who ran for some reason. Then I remembered it wasn't because he was wearing a blue muscle tee shirt. And anyway she checked and there was nothing there. No one was outside or anything. The whole thing is that it was so Peaceful and wasn't scary at all.

To this day it still makes me wonder if it was and angel or just a ghost with no harm in it.

Paranormal Activity In My House

Hello, my name is Rae. I am only 10, but please don't say I'm making this because I'm not. Anyways on to the story.

Awhile ago, I was up really late at 3 am, and I was sitting on the couch next to the window in the living room, and I heard a thumping noise outside on the back deck as if someone were walking. I would have looked and seen what had made the noise except that all the doors and windows were locked. I'm not allowed to go outside after 7:00, and it was pitch black outside. I got really scared, so I went and told my mom and went to bed.

Just today (April 1), only about 10 minutes ago, I heard a noise upstairs as if someone were walking around on the creaky floor, and then I heard low muffled voices coming from the same area. I'm still pretty creeped out by this, and just to let you know, I looked, and then my dad looked.

Also, when I try to go to sleep at night, its hard. My boyfriend, who practically lives here during weekends and breaks, thinks it's also haunted. Personally, I think the stairs and the bathrooms (that are right above and below each other) are the creepiest places.

My Nephew Talked With My Dead Father

Well, first I will tell you a bit about my family and I. I'm only 14 years of age and have had many paranormal experiences happen to me as many of my family members have. But I Never expected my two year old nephew to come out with something my dad liked to do with us as children.

Now for my story. Close to two years ago now, my older sister Jolene, her son Zach (please keep in mind he was only two when this happened) and I were sitting at home when Zach comes out from the lounge room talking to some one. Amused, my sister asked, "Zach, who are you talking to?" When he replied, "Pa", it was not quite as amusing.

I then asked, "what were you and Pa talking about?" His reply shocked me, "Pa wants to play dinosaurs with me." Zach continued to talk to his Pa for the rest of the night.

The reason Zach's reply had shocked me was the fact that my father had liked dinosaurs and every night my dad would joke and make us tell him a story about dinosaurs.

This was not the only experience my nephew had had with my father. There would be times when he would sit and laugh along with 'his Pa'. It stopped just recently, but its still not the end of my family's experiences.

Ghostly Voices

Me and my friend Anee were watching TV, and like most 14 year old girls, we got bored easily, so we turned the TV off and walked upstairs.

I had to clean my trousers in my parents sink as I couldn't put them in the washing machine. I had put the remote on the banister upstairs so we knew were it was. I was just rinsing my trousers when my friend pointed out a little girls voice saying 'hello', so my friend closed the door.

After that I told her we had to go downstairs to put my trousers in the tumble dryer. Coming down the stairs we heard it again so we ran into the kitchen and stayed there for half a hour.

After many attempts of trying to get into the living room we finally sat down on my sofa and turned the ipod on to break the tension. After the song had finished and my ipod had turned off, we heard the same little girl singing and then we heard cans being rattled around in the kitchen so we ran into the downstairs toilet. We then heard the kitchen door open and close and footsteps then walked across the living room floor.

I had by this time closed the downstairs toilet's door and was holding onto it very tight then something started pulling and trying to get in. After about half a minute the thing stopped and then we heard a knock at the front door. We cautiously peered out the bathroom door and found my dad outside because he had forgotten his key. If it wasn't for him, I don't no what would've happened!

This story is true and was one of the most frightening experiences ever.
