Sarah of Savanna and Girl Scouts

About 2 years ago the girl scouts and I took a trip to Savanna Georgia. The reason was that the founder (Juliet Gordin Lowe) lived down there. Savanna, being the most haunted city in America, was only adding to my interests in the paranormal and history. We took a ghost tour the night before we toured the house(which was closed for the night) and we sat on the steps on the outside of the house. Our tour guide told us the most surprising fact about the house that I never thought I would hear, it was haunted. The house was in danger of collapsing because of all the weight of the added third floor. Many believe the ghost of Sarah (Juliet's grandmother) is the guardian ghost of the house. The house is a treasure to girl scouts everywhere so we figure she wants to preserve it.

As the tour guide says Sarah's name the street light flickers. We all look at the light and as quickly as it happened the light stopped. We were all staring at the house in disbelief and the tour guide looks at us and says "Say hi to Sarah!"

After the story of Sarah we walked back to our car and looked at the house one more time. One of the girls in my troop waved and said "By Sarah!" in a joking way. I looked at one of the windows and a big blue orb-like thing glows in front of the window and then the whole room was glowing for no reason at all. We were all now stunned from this experience that we stared at the house for a good five minutes.

The next day we toured the inside of the house. It was beautiful with all the history. As we were touring the inside we went into one of the rooms and the guide told us it was Sarah's room. After inspecting the room we all agreed that Sarah's room was the room that lit up the night before. We can all agree that what happened that night cannot be explained. I look forward to my next trip to Savanna which was one of the best trips of my life.
