One night my brother and I went fishing in Tracy, CA. (Clifton ct.) to the delta. We went for an overnight trip. When we got there around 9:00 pm there were two other groups there. One group left when we unloaded our car and about a hour or so later the other group left as well. We were the only two people out there.
Sometime around 3:00 am we were talking about leaving because it was getting too windy when all of the sudden we hear a lady screaming and crying in the distance behind us. We both pause and look at each other to see if we both heard it. We tried to make sense of it thinking maybe its an animal but then while crying we heard it say "oh no, oh no" so then we think someone is getting hurt. All of the sudden it turns into laughing. So I tell my brother lets leave and after I say that the laughing, screaming and yelling start coming from every direction; from the left, right of us, behind us and in front of us from the water! After that we didn't waste any time, we threw everything in the car and right when we were done loading the car it all stopped at once. We were both pretty spooked.
I went home and told my dad the next day as he is a big fisherman and has been to the same spot before and he told us that he has heard other stories that were almost the same.
