Kenilworth Haunting

A small portion of our school went to Kenilworth Homestead for school camp. On the girls side of the cabins, there was an old shack sitting on top of a hill. The day was fairly normal, but at night, some girls shone a torch light on the shack and started to scream. I was in the cabin, so I ran outside. They were all saying that there was something in the shack. Some older girls sniffed at the idea, but didn't seemed totally convinced it wasn't true. My friend and I are great superstitious believers. She thought it might be one of three things... an old banshee, a poltergeist, or a creature that feeds of peoples fear. Se decided the third one. The night went on and nothing much happened, just a few noises.

In the morning, the teachers cabin lights were flicking on and off but no one was inside. Then the next cabin along's shelf broke off. That was cabin 2. Cabin 3 was pretty un-harmed, but cabin 4 was strange. We were all in our own cabins (mine number 5) when we heard the sound like dropping cutlery. And that's what my friend thought it was, but we still went outside. The window on cabin number 4 had been smashed from the inside. There was no real cause, as the shards were not small enough to be kicked or had something thrown at,and to thick for someone to have lent on. We thought our cabin was next, but we got out pretty unscathed.

Another weird thing is that my mother had been to Kenilworth homestead with her class too (different school) and the girls there had also seen something in the shack window. One of the girls had sprained their ankle when the ladder step of the bunk bed snapped suddenly.
