Hello my name is Faye and I've been at job corp. for seven months and I have heard some things about the ghosts up here. We have a small girl that goes between the dorms with her ball bouncing it.
Also bay six in Donner Dorm has scared many girls that knew nothing of the tales. I personally think I have heard the bouncing ball and a woman screaming, "No leave me alone."

ReplyDeleteI was at weber basin back in 1987 and I can tell you that the ghost are true. I slept in the last room down on the right side of the building in the very last room by the doors. on left side of hall. second to last bed closet to the windows and I remember waking one night to having someone standing beside my bed. It scared me so bad that I laid there with my eyes closed and heard the person walk out the side door. when I went to look no one was there. There was a man standing on the edge of the woods too. scary stuff. I heard there was an old mine up there that some miners died in. I miss being there. made a lot of friends but that was the only part i didn't like about the place.

about to wash my hands but i heard a little girl giggleing
so i thought it could be valorie trying to scare me, so i then left the bathroom and then again i heard the giggleing again so i looked back and nobody was there, so i kept walking to my bay wich was bay 5, so i looked for my room mate and i found her sleeping. so i layed on my bed
nd i keep hearing voices so i i woke up my room mate valorie to go chack it out with me, so we walked out the bay to the hallway and we heard voices but no one was there so then i looked back and i saw a little girl in a white dress. and i thougt that was the worst night of my life in weber basin job corps... creepy .!
i heard that in custer bay 2 bunk4 someone hung themself...its trippy and one of my bay mates in custer bay 5 saw a white shirt type thing in the middle of the night standing right by my bayleader while he was sleeping.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started up there I heard a rumor that the reason why Bridger dorm basement wasn't used because it was or is haunted, which most people up there didn't believe, but I didn't doubt it. Well after being there for about a year and half and seeing a solid black figure "float" by the medical building around 4 am one night plus hearing the stories of the center and the dorms history made me interested in what was with bridgers basement. One Sunday night a kid from my dorm and i decided to check out the basement. when we went down the stairs to the doors there was a chain and padlock on the door. The kid, Seth, knocked on the door, said hello and there was nothing yet i got this strange feeling like something was behind the door and wanted out, so i went to run up the stairs and we heard a loud bang like something fell. Scared we ran back inside then after a couple a minutes we decided, once again, to go back. We went back to the basement and knocked on the door again and i got that feeling again so i turned to go back up the stairs and i got 3 steps up and looked back and the doors pushed open til the chain stopped the door, that scared the crap out of us. after we were back inside Seth went to the dorm manager and told him what happened and he laughed and said its not haunted also the basement isn't used because it floods. So the manager and 2 top six one was one my friends that's pagan and sensitive, when the manager opened the door my friend told me he felt it, whatever it is he didn't know and i still don't know, went right past him and to the nearest open door which was the back door to the restrooms. the next couple of nights were very strange eerie. one night i was using the urinal and i had this strong feeling something was standing right behind me then while I was washing my hands i saw this rather large black mass floating behind me, which scared the crap out of me.. The strange thing is after I went home that weekend I didn't get that feeling anymore.. honestly I think "it" followed me home and stayed there. I gotta add that after I graduated I was outside mowing the lawn and my old rooms blinds were up far enough I could see inside that when I when walked past I was strangely attracted to something in my room, when I looked I could see this large strange black figure standing there watching me it petrified me to the point I stopped what I was doing and walked inside sat down and just stared at the basement, my friends told me I looked like I saw a ghost.
ReplyDeletethese ghost stories where there when I was there back in 1987. I seen things and heard things that scared me. I heard of the headless guy that walked thru one of boys dorms. scary. I think there really was something to those stories.
ReplyDeletea girl killed herself of an overdose in the girls dorm. She died at the hospital but she was basically gone there in the girls dorm. She was my friend and this happened back in 1987.
ReplyDeleteI stayed in custer I have heard stories of the little girl in bridger dorm with the females in out their lockers but in bay 5 In Custer where I first stayed in orientation there was a watcher in bay 6 t g at would stare at the clock in bay 5 and was described as a huge Native American man there were definitely more stories around the center as well plus everytime someone took a picture on site some kind of ghostly object would either interfere in the picture or be in the back ground I have definitely felt weird vibes there no lie
ReplyDeleteI was there the whole year of 1974,in donner and it was rough then,no one died that I remember on center,but people were coming and going it was like a transition center on the way into the military,one person froze to death hitch-hiking out from weber he was found a couple of days later,Didnt get a ride.Someone died in the hospital,a suicide.LOT of drama.rapes and injuries and drugs back then..am not surprised it seems haunted....
