Honduras Ghost Story | La Llorona | The Crying Lady

My boyfriend always tell me this crazy things that happened in his country. I'm from Belize city in central America. He is also from Central America, he is from Honduras.

This is something that really happened to his uncle.

It all starts with my boyfriend's uncle, and his mom. She say's, in the story, that her brother loved drinking and coming home drunk. They would walk two or three miles to get to the cantina's (Bar) by the light of the moon, on streets or better on road's that were made by the same people by walking everyday.

She said that one day she got tired of it and she told him that one of these day's la llorona (the crying lady) will follow him home. He laughed about it and continued to disobey.

One evening my boyfriend's mom came home around 11 or 12 because they had mass practice for the next day. She said as she walked in the house and walked to their rooms (the kid's) everyone was sleeping. She went to do some coffee and passed by her brother's room and she she saw a black figure sitting on the side of his bed. She walked in and when she looked clearly her face was not showing. All she saw was her hair in front and she had long, ugly fingernails. The figure was sitting there, touching his feet.

She asked who she was and the thing didn't say anything. When she looked down the woman's feet were weird, one foot was that of a horse and the other looked like a chicken.

She started praying in the name of Jesus Christ leave and never come back, go back to where you came from. The thing got up really fast and started screaming like a pig and left out the window. After that her brother was sick for almost 3 day's with high fever.
