Ghost Boy Followed Me from Tasmania

My year group at school this year went to Tasmania for the year excursion and I now have a little boy ghost following me.

We were staying in the Rutherglen Hotel, and me and my friends were staying in the coach house. Naturally we all went exploring through the coach house to see where we would be staying, and to pick our rooms and beds and unpack. One of my friends said to me that one of the rooms didn't feel right to her, and she didn't like to go in there, so curious me decided to have a look and see what I thought. Anyway, I walked into the room and felt fine, but I was drawn to the wardrobe, and so I opened the wardrobe and stepped in. As soon as I stepped in, I felt very ill and faint. I had to get out of the room as soon as possible or I was going to pass out or throw up or something, so I went downstairs and sat on the lounge.

I was sitting on the lounge and I felt drawn to underneath the staircase, so I stood up and walked over there to have a look. It made me feel sick also so my friend and I decided to take photos around the room and under the staircase. Out of about 25 pictures, we only caught one orb from my friend's camera.

Later that night I decided to go back to the wardrobe to have a further look, and after being in the wardrobe for about 2 minutes, I saw the little boy ghost. He was sitting in the back corner of the wardrobe (it was a walk in wardrobe) and he looked about five years old, and form a different century. He had dark hair, pale skin, and cuts and bruises all over his body. He also had no tongue when I saw him. He was wearing a sort of kimono-styled robe which was white.

Anyway, he looked scared, and he was all of a sudden running at me, and then was gone. I didn't get a chance to talk to him, but I still tried. I looked in the corner of the wardrobe where he was sitting, and found t at there was a huge hole cut out of the side and over the top of the stairs, so I moved what was covering it, and poked my head in to have a look. I saw the little boy once more in there, but again he was gone as quickly as he appeared.

After arriving home from Tasmania, my friend and I were reviewing the photos, and there were more orbs in these than there were when I took the photos. They only came up after returning home. There were collections of small orbs near the wardrobe, and also at one stage there was a small orb above the bed that I was sleeping in.

The weekend after returning home, my boyfriend was at my house for the night and he told me he saw a little boy standing staring at him from next to my two year old sister's toybox in the loungeroom. He described what he looked like and it was certainly my ghost.

Also, my sister's flashing shoes light up sometimes without anything that can cause them to do so as you need to be placing pressure in them to make them light up.

Things have disappeared and then been re found in a place that we have already looked. My tape deck was fully switched of and the volume turned all the way down the other night, but the next day I went to turn it on and the play button was pushed down and the volume all the way up, and nobody had touched it for a few days.

On my way walking to school sometimes I feel somebody tugging at my hair or stroking my hair, and poking my arm. Last week at school, at recess my leg started to bleed (at a scab) and I hadn't picked it or bumped into anything that could have made it bleed.

We managed to also get an orb in our loungeroom.

Last night I wanted to take pictures in my room, but my camera was refusing to work properly and turn on, but the batteries were fully charged and new, and my camera is undamaged and the card has got plenty of space left.

I am now in the process of trying to contact him, but it is proving very difficult at the moment. I want to know his name, and why he has followed me all the way from Tasmania when I live in Deniliquin NSW.

Hope you liked the story.

Alysia, firstly our concept of distance isn't like a ghost's. ( I'm in Darwin and may have had someone follow me from Sydney! ) Their concept of time and space doesn't work like ours - 100 years can be like a day to them. Travelling halfway across a continent is like walking across a room.
From your description, his life while alive doesn't appear to have been too pleasant.
Your interest and outgoing, inquisitive nature, particularly as you weren't afraid of him but more interested in him, would appear like a bright light and attract him - particularly after what would appear to be some time of neglect or mistreatment.
But he still is a child and there is a risk he may become mischevious ( like the antics you have described ) nasty, naughty living children, do become nasty, naughty little ghosts! ( not all kids are sugar and spice! )
He has to be given boundaries or helped toward the light.
If he was severely mistreated ( or perhaps even disabled? ) , he could be afraid of going to the light as fear is probably all he knew when alive.
Without a caring adult or older person to guide him, he could be a little lost, it would appear he did finally find some kindness in you!
If you can handle him being around that's fine but you may find he may start to get a little mischevious and hopefully not too disruptive.
You need to lay down the rules ( he can hear you! ) as he is likely to attempt to interact with your little sister, as she is at an impressionable age and will probably become aware of him in her own good time. ( little kids accept ghosts are real - until grown ups tell them otherwise ) and I'm sure he would love a playmate!
So be prepared to play ' Mummy ' - and if he can't stay, you need to look at explaining the situation to him, smudging your house and encouraging him on his way to the light.

  2. I posted about this earlier on my own web blog. Your article has actually given me some food for thought, I feel you will have made many very intriguing points. I want I might found it earlier, prior to writing my very own post.
