This happened to me back in 2007 in my apartment (my sister was my roommate). So to begin with the story, I bought this really cheap but beautiful ring from a store. I'm the type of person that remembers exactly where everything is placed at. Before I left to go to my other sister's house for the weekend, which is two hours away from my place - I left my new ring on my dresser.
When I returned home I couldn't find my ring, so I asked my sister if she had seen my ring and if she had any friends over for the weekend. She said yes, she had her boyfriend and two of her friends over but she said everyone stayed in the living room and plus my door was shut.
The next day my sister and her boyfriend helped me look for my ring, we looked up and down - every corner... just everywhere, I even stripped my bed and vacuumed my room spotless. No luck finding the missing ring.
A good week went by....one morning I woke up, decided to lay in bed for a while and guess what I saw? My ring was on my carpet floor as if someone placed where I can see it perfectly. I was so shocked and at the same time I was scared. To this day it is still a mystery....
