The Old School House

My boyfriend and our two other friends were out ridge riding in the Hills of West Virginia when we came a cross an old church that had been turned into an old school house. This school house was clearly falling down around us. The floor had holes all in it and the walls had graffiti all over it. Soon as I went to turn around something hit me knocking me flat on my but! My boyfriend freaked and helped me out. I kept say, "Lets get out of here." Before I got those words out my friend was pushed backwards and she hit the wall. Both men looked frightened.

"Lets go I repeated!" as I jerked on my boyfriends arm. "I'm out." My friend said as she ran past us for the door. The door slammed shut and for us there was know way out! "The window!" My boyfriend screamed.

The guys helped us out and we fled out of there. Later we heard some stories about an old man who was a serial killer who killed victims there. I never wanna go back.
That place was scary!

My Ghost Stories from West Virginia

A lot of people believe in ghosts. I for one, do.

When I was a young girl, I had just moved to West Virginia with my mom, dad, and brother. We moved in with my grandma and grandpa. Me and my mom shared a bed because I was afraid to sleep alone. One night I woke up. I looked up from my bed and saw an apparition of a young girl and an older woman about in her 30’s standing in the doorway. The young girl was in a long pink night gown with frills on the end of the sleeves and on the bottom of the night gown. The older woman was in the same thing, but her gown was white. I was very scared, but as soon as I looked down to hide my head, I looked right back up, and they were gone.

I still live in my grandmas house today. I’ve never seen those two apparitions again.  While I would be home alone, I could see things out of the corner of my eye, hear footsteps, my television would turn on by itself, I would get random cold chills, and I would feel someone touch my arms. Sometimes things would move by itself. I definitely think there is some sort of life after death, whether  it be good or bad.

Haunted Motel in West Virginia?

My name is Jim. In '89 my girlfriend and I were traveling back to Tampa Florida from Cleveland Ohio. In West Virginia we stopped at a Motel 6 to get some rest. After dinner and a couple of cold beers it was time for sleep. We turned the TV off to settle down for the night. After it became quiet we started hearing a party going on. We heard men and women laughing, glasses tinkling. The general din of many voices. It was very irritating. My girl says why don't I call the office and complain, I said no, I will ask them myself to keep it down, the kind of person I am.

If anyone has stayed in these kinds of motels they are usually two story rectangular buildings. Our room was in the very back. The only other rooms rented were in the front by the office. When I went to talk to "party" there was no one renting near us. No one above, side to side or on the other side of the motel. The closest renters were several doors away. I even walked by the other renters rooms and could hear nothing. We could only hear it in our room!

We feel asleep listening to the sound of men laughing, women giggling and toasts being made. I never felt so unnerved in my life. My girl was glued to me the rest of the night. Thanks for reading. More to come.
